For the third year, Framingham Co-operative Bank has sponsored a student essay contest in three Framingham elementary schools.

Each year students in 11 fifth-grade classrooms at the McCarthy, Hemenway and Potter Road schools compete for first-place honors for essays reflecting their personal thoughts on: “What Does Patriotism Mean to Me?”
